Kay & Terry - Epic and Emotional Cathedral Wedding in Denver CO
I have the best clients. There’s clearly a high level of emphasis on generations between these family’s and I felt that. The depth of love that Terry has for his wife that clearly is visible not just in the images, but the video, and the state of absolute bliss Kay continued to exude the entire day reaching multiple peaks throughout the first look, ceremony and reception had me giddy as well. Whiiiiiccchhh you can probably see when were dancing in the video 🤣
I must say, getting to work with Weddings by Hudson completely blew me away with the caliber of videographers available in the industry right now. If you have hired me or want to hire me, please hire him too because he is another level and I am so genuinely excited to see what he is concocting next…. Id like to say “Let him cook” if I may 🧐
Epic Engagement Session at Helen Hunt falls & Red Rock Canyon Open Space
I can’t hyperbolize what it is to be able to work with amazing clients who don’t see me as just another photographer. Out of an endless sea of images on the internet with an endless list of photographers who in many cases are equal or more parts, content creators or brand specialists rather than just artistic image craftsman. I’m amazed anytime someone calls me because my work caught their eye. Teresa and Andy called me for that very reason having found me organically through the jungles of cyberspace…. (can you tell I like melodrama? 🫠)
The point remains. I’m honored anytime someone asks me to hold their memories and visual identity in my own hands and eyes and I felt that pressure here to deliver for these two. Their wedding is coming later this year and I get to revisit them and make more moments and craft more art with them again. I’m very excited to do so.

Where can I begin. As a wedding photographer who has only within the past 24 months or so relocated from the east coast to Colorado, trying to establish my business in a completely new place with absolutely no name recognition and no pre-established clientele has been something I haven’t considered a “challenge” per se as much as I would call it a new frontier. Since I’m not yet known here for my photojournalistic and technically experimental style, I’ve had lead after lead in some sense or another grow cold because they came to me looking for “just another photographer” and not necessarily because my work was something that spoke to them…. Authentic Couple Married in Vail Colorado
Maybe its the summer weddings, and I know I find myself keep saying when I’m shooting these weddings that I love my job. And that “THIS WEDDING” stands as a shining example of why I love weddings. Family serving each other. Friends all traveling from out of state to support each other, a couple that authentically loves each other. I wish I was doing more weddings this year because this never gets old.

I met Samuel as his sisters wedding (whom I photographed, and also still need to blog… don’t hate me I’m sorry its so hard to stay on top of blogging 😅) Samuel had some specific tattoos that caught my attention and I soon found we had very similar tastes in music. But the vibes were so emasculate I knew I had to photograph them at some point. We talked about it off and on, until very recently he proposed to his girlfriend Bex (who was also at the wedding) and the game was on! I had so much fun with this session. I experimented both technically in ways I haven’t in quite a while. But also tried a few edits that I thought lent themselves to their vibes as well as served as a shout out to my partner photographer Michelle Brinn who you can find at TheVibrantNC.com since I used her preset on a few of these.

Old Colorado City is Great for Family Portraits
Having just moved here and enrolled our daughter in a new school, I find it very entertaining to kind of watch how she forms relationships and who she ends up gravitating towards. Since it was kindergarten the parents of the kids who hang out can kind of begin to hang out and even form gentle “cliques.” And as fortune would have it, while my wife was back in the stage of seeking motivation for fitness again, she came to find out that Isaac has a personal training and fitness business. As the months have past I am ecstatic to be able to support Isaac in what he’s doing for our community having been able to shoot is product line as well as his family. It’s a great honor as a photographer to find mutually beneficial relationships like the one we’ve formed with the Vela family, not just on a professional level but on a personal one where our kids are quite fond of each other as well. we love you guys and cheers to many more hangs, workouts, and photo ops to come!
Dream Colorado Springs Wedding - Almagre Reception Venue - Garden of the Gods
Anna and Lou’s Love for each other is infectious. Every time I go back through their wedding images I continue to be absolutely blown away by the way they look at each other, and the memories I get to hold of their family and friends supporting them. I made quite a few friends of my own this wedding who I continue to speak with. This is one of those weddings that reminds me that I love what I do and don’t want to stop.

I happen to do an abundantly large volume of real estate photography sessions, and as I do many of those I meet a lot of people. Really cool people. Leia Bernhard is one of those people. I know and love so many different agents so it’s really impossible to choose, but Leia is awesome intuitive and resourceful. I’m honored I got to be the photographer that shot them for the first time in (if I remember correctly) 7 years! Did I get that right Leia?
The Painted Mines - Original Engagement Session
When I met Zawadi & Kate at a Denver bridal show, it was very easy to fall in love with their personalities. They’re dripping with vibe and love for each other, so to do a session with them for me felt like a got to do the kid in a candy store thing. On top of being able to do the whole session at the paint mines!
